Traxxas not only does the CORR Series (Sponsor on Trucks, event sponsor, in car camera sponsor) but they've also been seen sponsoring the big Arena MONSTER TRUCK events and trucks.
What will happen with R/C companies getting involved in these markets?
MORE R/C Vehicles will be sold (Their Objective), but r/c race events will probably get LESS Sponsorship $$$, cause their focus is going to be on SELLING to a NEW market.

They will sell more, and Traxxas is a pretty big player in CORR. Will there be less $$$ for sponsorship, yep. But sposorship already displays to a very narrow, and narrow minded group. How many people say that Traxxas don't make race cars, losi...so why would the sponsor an RC racer, the bulk of rc racers already have their mind made up.
You also have to look at it this way, if they put more RC cars in peoples hands then that is a good thing...for people selling everything from motors to battery, to new bodies. And perhaps...just perhaps some will want to race at a track.
