I've done the same thing, but mainly due to the fact that I'm not running my WCR 414M.
I've got my original 414M at world spec though....

does anyone know where i can find the conversion kit for the 414 to bring it up to 414M spec? i know, for the price of the 414 i could have bought a WCR, but i like the original 414 more. i just want conversion kit for the heck of it.

It's people like you, x414X and rccarracer who made me want to keep my TRF414. Now I'm thinking of bringing it to its original specs too. Do you have the aluminum setting dish wheels?

I'd leave it original, but try and contact Rainbow Ten and see if they can source one from Tamiya Japan...

I'm keeping it.

I'm also sticking with my TA03R. I don't want to wreck that 414 with my novice driving.

cool, thanx. i actually just want the conversion kit to go along with my 414, but actually i'm not gonna install it. does anyone have the part # and cost of that conversion? thanx a bunch.

rough:

keep the car dude! i've always loved dual belt layout. The 414 series has probably the best examples of this type of car. I'm just glad i finally located a shop that actually had it in stock. The car i bought is NIB, so i have everything that is suppose to come with the kit, including the setting wheels. i dont know if i'll even run it, since it seems parts for the original 414 is really hard to come by.
