Well, first of all, that car/chassis is not an official release from Tamiya. I think he got had the chassis custom made from somewhere.

It could well be modeled after the Kai Racing Factory's limited edition graphite chassis kit for thr 414M.

you can compare the two here:
http://www2u.biglobe.ne.jp/~kmodels/414mkailimited.htm

As for the performance differences of this kit... can't really help you.

Sry this has nothing to do with this question but i was wondering how much you think my TAO4R is worth?
Its upgraded with a carbon lower deck, center-oneway, Aluminum Steering Arms, Carbon Damper Stay Front and Rear. Ive had it for about 3 months.

I havent got a pic of it but im working on that.

I think it depends where you are intending to sell it as the resale price of a car is relative to how much the car costs new in the local market.

Just received mine and can confirm that the bulkheads and motor mount are anodized blue.

yeah, the bulkheads are definately blue. The rainbowten pictures are in black and white. The blue looks a bit paler than the blue on the standard bulkheads. I still think they would look better in gunmetal.

TA04- it also depends on it's condition, just cause you've had it 3 months doesn't mean it's in good condition. I know this from buying second hand cars.

Chris@weaponR- i gear around 6.8 for 19T but it really could be different for you depending on track size etc.

True, this chassis is not official released. This is a prototype produced by TRF and I got it from Japan. And yes, the material was just the same as that of kmodels.

question about the WCR stabilizer kit. the tie rods that holds the sway bar in place, does anyone recall the actual inner length between the two ball cups on the tie rods?

misplaced my instructions, so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

It is really a shame, I was really hoping for the gunmetal......

If Tamiya release another 414 series car, I hope they use the same colour as in the Evo series cars.....

(That is a big "IF", as I have heard a rumour from one of my guys in Shizouka say that there is a big possiblility that no more variations will be produced. TRF will concentrate on the EVO line of cars!!!)

I received the SSG complete set for my 414mII. Now I just waiting for my lightweight bulkheads and Square belt tensioner. I should receive it on monday. I will post my pic after I finish putting everything together. My 414 already fully upgraded. I don't think I can do more. Except I'm thinking about the new Square parts that released for TB3 and put them on my 414. The titanium axle, aluminum front and rear hub......etc. They are the same.
