If so then your problem is almost certainly that your brakes are locking up and all you are doing is skidding to slow down.

Turn your brakes down using the hotwire to about 80% and you should notice an immediate difference. You brakes will be as good as any other speed controller on the market.

I know this beacause I have been through the same problems and after many e-mails to Randy trying to figure the problem I finally tried turning the brakes down and instant success.
I was having same problem and went to schrefflers setup and now I have BRAKES !!!

NO NO NO. You type in the actual voltage you want the cut-off to be. It should be at least 3.0. I think mine is set to 3.10 but would have to check to be sure.

Sorry, I guess I should have mentioned that earlier.

WOW!!!

Based on the first picture, it looks like the battery posts overheated, loosened themselves, and managed to contact one another during a run. Any other thoughts???

I'm not even sure thats what happened. The lipo battery wasn't hurt in any way, and I ran it in my first and third qualifiers on Sunday. It ran for about 10-12 minutes after it finally accepted the 203 software, then suddenly stopped and started to smoke. By the time I had ran off the drivers stand there was a 3-4 inch flame on it. I have already contacted Tekin and it's on its way back with a copy of my receipt. Hopefully since nothing else was hurt in any way, this will be a warrenty issue.

such thing like this was never cause by the 203 software.

there is 2 possibilities, Input wires and, receiver wires.
as capacitor remain well.
and signal wires seal is burned rather the black and red receiver wires,
and The power input pin connection Tin is all melted.
Obviously cause by input power for such high temp.

anyway tekin case and output almost fine.

So it's not caused by software.

Doubtful that it was software related! I can't believe that the lipo was not hurt either! Might have been from running NOVICE
