The speedo will work it's the other electronics that I'd be concerned about. I would recommend a booster for single cell no matter what.

Some people notice more of a difference than others when they try running without a booster. The steering is slower and doesn't have as much holding power if you run without the booster or a receiver pack.

Can you recommend one(RX pack or Booster)? I don't want to pay $15 S&H for a $12 part from overseas.

There is some one importing the cheap boosters here in the states but I would recommend spending a little extra for the Novak. Customer service is well worth the extra money and the Novak is 6v instead of 5v.

I can't wait to be avle to run the new software indoors. It's going to be HUGE for single cell.

You mean that you want the software with the Turbo?
It will go fast. I can tell you that.
I love it. I have now the power that I came to short and even more.
It's great.
I didn't test it on the 2 big tracks were the GM is the fastest. (only 2 tracks were they are the fastest) on the other tracks, the SPX was the fastest.
And now the Tekin is already on 3 tracks the fastest. This Sunday I will test it on a big track and see how it goes there.
I believe tha the Tekin will be the new nr 1. Than the SPX and than the GM.
The Tekin is not only fast on the very small tracks but also on the medium track and I believe with the power i have also on the big tracks.

The Turbo makes the Tekin even faster on the small tracks. I couldn't believe it till i tested it.

So far at practice today for the nats which starts tomorrow, i have been trying different combinations of settings and gearing.
I can confidently say i am one of, if not the fastest 13.5 running.
I am able to hold and in some cases out accellerate other cars from corners and also have more top end.
what surprised me more is that i ended up at 52mm roll out and my motor comes of at 137deg/f - 58 deg/c after 6 mins.
will adjust to suit after the first heat.

Still have weak brakes though but am using drag brakes with good success.

Thanks Tekin !!!

Rui, Yes, I ran 10.5 and it was awesome. We need to get a electric race scheduled there for this summer. This new software coming out will be awesome at 301 Raceway. Can't wait to try it.

I'll be at Trains and Lanes on the 11th and Jackson the 18th and 19th. See you then.

My home track has a straight of about 40M.
The indoor track that i drive has a straight of 25M.
You must gear very light en lower your boost a bit.
I gear on my home track about 6.87FDR with a Tekin Redlinle 10,5T on 5 cell.
The indoor track is on lipo and a 10,5T lrp motor.
I hope to test this soon but I got now my Turbo kicking in faster with a lighter gearing.
I will let you now how it goos with also a lower boost.
I belief that the Turbo will kick in even faster.
