I'd have to agree this support is second to none. I like it so much I want to buy an rx8 esc, I just don't have a car to put it in.

and yes the interface needs work, but it works. So I don't care.

just a question on capacitors. The tekin comes standard witrh a 16v330. Is it possible to use a 10volt capacitor? I presume it can handle the the 7.4volts from the lipo i use? or is the 16volt really needed? I drive modified motors so i want to use two 10v1200 xtremely low Impedance caps.

10v caps will work as long as you stick to 2s. The RS is rated up to 3s so it comes with the appropriate cap.

while we are bashing the hotwire, I'd like to add something. The ability to save profiles would be nice. That way we could save settings for different motors, tracks, cars, and what ever else changes the esc settings.

I understand where everyone is coming from. The best part is that everything said was constructive, thank you for that!

Truly shoes that our customers "get it" and want to see the same improvement we do here at Tekin.

I will pass on all the good info.

We're all complaining about the HotWire being hard to read cuz we're all old and can't see!
Just kidding honestly. Now I gotta go clean my glasses.

No .Net exists on the Mac and on Linux read about it here: http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page. I've started playing with it a little, the other solution is a virtual machine, the hotwire usb shows up properly in Linux and Mac so the VM can use it.

Hey, I just purchased a new RS speed control and need to reverse my throttle, which is fine but when I power it off and power it back up I have to reverse the thottle back to standard then back to reverse. Is this normal? Also when on it has a high pitch whine to it? I'm using a DX3s for a radio with a SR 300 reciever. Any ideas or is this just normal

This is where I have to disagree. Tekin could go one step more and between heats Randy could massage my throtle finger so I'm relaxed before my heat Man I have too much time on my hands.

If enough people request it, I'm sure Tekin would build the car to place that RX8 into The feed back is awesome and the updates that you don't have to pay for are un heard of. They are doing something right
