But the max a stock TB01's plastic motor mount can take is 25t AV. I don't know if the alloy motor mount (with slots instead of A/B/C/D preset motor positions) can take any bigger pinions.
So the 27t is only for TA04. TA04 kits come std with 25t, and there's room for a couple more pinion teeth before you need to change the 87t AV spur (which is the only AV one they make) for something else. Third-party companies have been making AV pinions in 26 and bigger for a long time now.

whats the diff between Type T and Type R? R these consider a stock motor?

Type T and R are considered "Stock" in Singapore.

Also, Type T has laydown brushes while Type R has standard brushes. I suggest getting a Type S or Type RR because these two are rebuildable while the Type T & R have sealed endbells.

should i get a lower turn motor, since my ESC can support as low as 12T motor...??

BlixeX, if you are just starting out, stick with a stock motor. A mod motor requires more maintenance and you may not be able to control the car anyway.

If you use cover, be very careful about ESC and motor overheating. The cover prevents airflow to the inside, so everything just cooks.
It is best to run without the cover.
