I have 4 packs of those and seem fine to me! tried them back to back with a CRC liPo and they seemed about the same to be honest (our local track is quite small though, so a larger track may show more differance!).

So I read with the inline versions going softer is key. Would that mean in the regular 12r5 set up stiffer is ok. Just wanted to know i am testing some stuff. With mod would blue center and blue sides with 40k oil be ok?

Yes those settings would be fine. A lot of people also run that setup with the Inline cars, however if I were you I would go with 20wt oil in the center shock..

Hi guys,
I'd like to trade in my R12 for an asso RC12R5.1 with inline chassis but I dont wanna buy the car + the lipo conversion and have a ton of unused CFK parts.

Is there any chance that asso brings out the inline car as a kit?

Thanks,
Dirk

I just looked at them yesterday, I'm going to get 1. Gens Ace has a 4600. I want to get 1 of them too.

Last I was told was that there were no immediate plans for an inline kit - although you've got to assume that it will come at some point.

They may have a kit out sometime next year. Maybe before the start of the 2012/13 indoor season.

For right now the best thing is to but a used 5.1 and the conversion kit. It will cost as much as a new one and you may get a bunch of stuff thrown in by the seller. A friend of mine bought a new, never raced R5.1 for $80 off of fleabay.

Guy's

Arn0 and I have changed the R5.1 set-up sheet. We have created a R5.2 Inline set-up sheet with lots more options to fill in. Arn0 made a awesome sheet.

Have a look:

I'd appreciate someone from associated making a statement on the inline kit as a whole iso. a few cfk plates.

Thanks.
