The 4000 pack just fits in my PHi. I bought the lipo tray from Verndog and I'm going to have to do some interesting fitment to make the tray and pack work together on this car. It fits under the bulkhead but puts some stress on the top deck and hits the lower nut on the rear of the top plate.

Hey Verndog. I love the tray and the side weight. Great quality stuff. I haven't had much time to try and fit everything and I'm pretty picky about how things fit in my car. I want to be able to swap Nimh batteries in whenever I feel like it, so I haven't sanded the chassis for the plate to fit because I don't want my NiMh batts to fall too low in the chassis. I'll be working it tonight though. I'm trying some different wiring layouts to get the pack to sit where it's supposed to on the car without having the wires hang out everywhere or rub on the belt. I'll let you know how it goes. I really don't want to put this stuff in my kid's TC5.
Danny, I tried the pack Thursday night but traction was terrible. (dust storm) I wasn't able to pull the throttle like I wanted to but the pack did have plenty of rip down the straightaway. Until I get this fitment thing worked out, I guess I'll have to suffer with these bada$$ EnerG cells. Either way, great products.

pack availability?
Hi,
Will be in the US next week, in Miami and New York; can anyone kindly post the names/numbers of retail shops that have these in stock? I'm planning to buy some to bring home to the Philippines also what balancer do you guys recommend for these packs?
Thanks!

This weekend I raced with our 4000 pack in a XXX-CR. It's very easy to take a Dremel with a sanding drum and grind down a small slot for the wires to come out. As I have said multiple times on this thread there was no way for us to get the wires coming out on top.

Well, many still feel there is no need for a hardcase, but ROAR rules require it.....and if you want to sell a product to the racing public, ROAR approval is a big neccessity, especially for a racing company like SMC....
