I am going to try 3 hole shock pistons this weekend. Just to try it.

Should be interesting. What springs did you end trying on your car last weekend? What oils did you try. Just curious because I only ran asphalt rubber tire and not carpet.

Did you use the the standard Mazda 6 or Speed 6 lid for your car?

Standard Mazda Speed6 and the purple pink spring combo and Associated 35 weight. The car was good. Ended up laying down the rear shocks one hole from the last to calm the rear end down. The E4 pushed a little more after that but still was good. I just felt like the car could be just a little more settled and I am thinking the 3 hole pistons will do it.

Nice. Is the car hoping around due to the bumps? Is that a TM spring set your using? I know Steve is going to try something different this weekend as well. Not sure what he is going with on his MI4 but he is doing a piston change.

Yes it seems like it hops but I think/know it can be better. Yes they are TM springs.

It was bouncing because you had 26lb. springs on it!:p

I was told those are 16lb springs. Funny guy.

Thank you seaball that show me that purple is WAY too stiff. No one runs more than a 19lb spring up front with rubber tires on carpet.

it's not off limits, but generally, no.

The standard front spring in Fairtrace, Schreff and my Rubber car is a 21-22# spring. ;)

Not sure but compared to the Corally 14lb spring the E4 TM purple spring is slightly stiffer but then again that's in my hands (human feel) and not a tool to rate springs. Trying the 2 hole pistons first with some slightly softer springs on Saturday. Right now just "feels" about right on the push down on the chassis meter.
