At one time you could get parts from Kevin's Racing Bits out of GB. Don

TL01/FF02 Long Suspension Arms set (#53467)
just got my FF02 from hibernation, been in the closet for years). had fun with my first fwd (FF01) racing it with the TA03s and having good results with it but find the front end to be fragile resulting to movement of the motor during hard collisions. but man did i have a blast with the FF01
got the FF02 but was disappointed since it wants to swap end when entering the corner unlike the FF01 which was on rails. that's why i want to try the Tamiya hop-up #53467 long suspension arms set but would like to know if somebody has tried this already? were there significant improvements in handling since the pivot points are altered. also, does the rear hub carrier included in the set provide about 2degrees toe-in?
thanks

I used to have an FF02 and also did install the long span suspension option. I can say, yes it did improve the handling as the hop up parts were designed better with less slop plus the revised geometry gave the car a lower stance.
However, back in those days I was still just a parking lot basher so my testimony doesn't really hold that much water.
Swap ends? What's your set up? Maybe you just need "stickier" tires.
*And yes, if I remember things right, it does have 2 deg toe in rear uprights.

full ball raced, oil shocks 40wt, hard/soft springs, Sorex 32R tires, 27T stock motor, 3300 NiMHs
i can feel the FF02 sliding and would swap ends when entering a corner, compared to my previous FWD (FF01) which was really planted box-stock which i was able to race with 4WDs
BTW, do the rear uprights included in the Long Arm conversion kit offer any toe-in or it's 0 degrees (neutral)? i feel this would make the car more stable since the FF01 came with standard toe-in rear uprights as well as other race chassis
thanks
