It's because it is a RE Amemiya kit on the RX7. It uses Porsche headlights.

I used to have a black 94 with a Type R wing but it had the USDM front end on it... I already have the bronze HPI TE37 wheels on my FF01 (same as my real car) so I can't wait to make a replica... The JDM front was going to be my next purchase but someone stole the car

it looks like the body is made by ABC hobby... I'll have to talk to my sources and see if I can get more info

Back in the day the FF cars could hang with the 4wd tourers. In a class like stock or RCGT where the motors are limited, they may still be competitive.

As long as traction is good, the low rolling resistance and reduced drivetrain friction of FF are an advantage if anything.

that would suck. that basically rules me out in terms of getting an FF03 before nats.

hopefully fred lets us add FF03 as a second class.
