First couple of races will be on carpet: FSEARA race and hopefully the Spec17.5GT class at the Snowbirds. After that mostly asphalt.

I have oval cars that use the CRC links and do the same to get them free.

I like the Shoe-goo underneath the servo.

You are correct sir... at the moment I only have the 1/8 nitro axles for this front end. I have a more conventional pan car front end in the works that is much simpler and lighter.

New to WGT, what's a good tire diameter and roll out to start off with. I have a Gen X 10 SE and will be running on a 80 X 40 track size.

do you run both front and rear at the same sizes?

I do. But, I run two sets of WGT fronts to one set of rears because the fronts wear about twice as fast as the rears. So, I buy double the fronts when ordering tires.

Also switch side-to-side as the more used tires wear down (whichever side is considered outside on the track). This is usually more pronounced on the fronts than the rears; so, I time my front swaps to when I am changing the tires from one set to the other.

Following these directions, I seldom have to re-true my tires. But, would if necessary.

With a ROAR legal setup, I am usually between 83-88mm. Whereas, I see others getting up to 90'ish on larger tracks with a 100' back straight.

What motor and ESC do you run?
