3.14 is "pie" Allows you to figure out the circumfurance of a circle, when you know the diameter.

Anyone know of anywhere that the Serpent Porsche 962 GTP 235mm body is in stock? Or does anyone have any for sale?

Ok folks it's that time of the month to meet up at Crystal Park Raceway. If you have debating if you should go and take your pan car out of the closet, well make it this weekend. Bring what you have, lets just have fun. If not enough pan car guys show, will be put in with a touring class so don't worry about not being able to participate. If your driving skills are not up to par, well mines are not up to par either just having fun. Remember unfortunately next month we will not have a meeting at Crystal Park as nitro racing is going on and took our spot. If you still cannot make this weekends race hit me up if you can make it any other weekend for some bashing/practice time and will meet up.

Here is the flyer for this Saturday's race so bring your pan car, touring, nitro.

One of the nitro guys I see at the track running an electric touring car

Did pan cars die already? This thread went dead as well as all others and just wondering if anyone has had any luck getting anythig started in their city/state? I had one guy show up with an old trinity but that is all I could rally up here in Los Angeles and really he had already been hanging out at the track practicing for a bit. I love my CRC and learning something every day but would be nice to have other pan cars to race instead of getting put in with the touring mod class. Anyways lets see who else is hanging in since the begining of the last year and a half to two and you Canadian and europeans don't count, we know you have a following of this class.

No they didn't. I would say that things are on hold. In a lot of parts of the country, summer is fast approaching and so is outdoor NITRO racing. I am part of that crowd preparing for the nitro races.

And to those bloody Europeans, please send some of that crowd here! We want to get the pan car class bigger!!

Talking about the Netherlands I was searching for a particular issue of RC World September 2008 as one of the guys at the track was showing me a full article on pan cars and said I need to have a copy. I just scored a copy in Japan and as I was translating it had a reference to the Netherlands.

Check it

i can't really see the relation between the word The Netherlands and the rest of the sentence and article to be honest.

Default Pan cars alive and well in Portland, OR & Vancouver, WA

The carpet season is coming to an end up here, but in the last 3 months over 20 CRC Gen X 10's were sold at Timezone II Raceway. We consistently get 2 to 3 heats every Thursday of Outlaw (17.5 2c Lipo) World GT. With summer on it's way, the first race at Timezone Raceway (the outdoor asphalt track) is tomorrow April 25th. We expect a great turnout as many of us are converting to 235mm kit with the Protoform P905B and running mod. As well there will be a 200mm 17.5 Lipo class. As far as I can tell the indoor carpet will still be ran every Thursday night as well. At least until the building is unbearably hot.

World GT alive and well in the Northwest.
