Could someone please tell me the diameter of the balls used for the side links on the Gen X 10?
Is it the same as that of normal ball studs?
What is the part number?
(it's for solving a little problem on another car)

glue on side wall of tires
I am new to pan cars, just learning from reading this thread and I didn't even get my car on the track, still new.
Why you guys glue the side walls of the tires?
Do I really have to trim them before using?
I have bought 2 pairs of front and 2 pairs of rear tires from CRC, they are 60mm if I am not wrong is there any problem running them like this?

spur (original from the kit) 100T
pinion: 26T
Tire diameter: 61mm
Calculating I got:
61*3.14*26/100=49.8 correct?I have to divide everything by the spur?ok?
Now my idea is to run on asphalt, 4.0 LRP motor, Orion 3800 Lipo, Futaba 9650 and Sphere TC speedo, with this roll out I will be fine?
I now understand the idea of how calculating it, but I did not understand how to apply it.
Really sorry to answer so many questions that might be stupid but as I told I have never been to pan cars before.

Hi
on my Windows Live page you can find a rollout chart for pro10 for both 64 pitch and 48 pitch gearing.

Just send them to me with about $20 (US) so I can return them...LOL
Seriously, you need to cut the rears to about 57mm to get the ride height down. For carpet, I start with 55mm fronts and 57mm rears. For outdoor, I can start with 56mm/58mm.
I know...It's a lot of rubber into the trash...But, the performance is top shelf.
If you end up with a bit too much traction with the Jacos, try the CRC tyres. They are a bit firmer with their slightly larger wheels.
Cheers!

Rubber tires
Hello guys,
Looking at a website here in Brazil for EP cars I found the link for a german one, specialized on pan cars.
There I found on a thread that there is adptor for pan cars to use the common ruber tires, have you ever seem something like that?
I am asking because here in Brazil pan cars are not popular, so everything I have to buy from amain, stormer, rcmart, mushroom and so on and starts to became expensive.
If someone have ever seem or know where to buy it, please PM me with the details.
