Used to have three of these 3/4 screws in place when I ran a heavier 2S pack WGT; but, only the center screw was retained for 1S racing.
Shoe Gooing sounds like a good solution too; but, I wanted to be able to disassemble the parts.

I do have the foam bumper pad and it does overhand the cf plate a bit.
I just checked tweak in the chassis an it looks fine. I think I will epoxy the bumper plate to the chassis so I can save $50.
The car also came with manutech plastic bumper plate so I will try that too, epoxy that one on instead of stock cf one.
And yeah, it was the end of the straight at TQ.

Just checked my two LE cars again tonight. One has the single 3/4" screw in the front bumper and the other has all three of them. No breakage either way; so, maintaining the overhang at the front center seems to cover the issue.
And both of these WGT cars used to run a lot faster when we were using boosted/turbo modes on our ESCs in the pro class at the IIC.

info on gen 10 le
Hi guys ,looking at buying a gen 10 le, only i need your help on info on what parts i need to get going once i buy the new kit. Should i need springs, shock oil, bearings etc. You guys know what i need , thing is crc cars are not thick on the ground here in brisbane australia.Looking at maybe running it as a pro 10.I have learnt a lot from rc tech forums over the past few months.

Oils and damper lube should be common to what others are running in the class...the kit comes with 30wt oil and 20k lube (I think??)

Thanks scootr117 for the info. I am using a old 235 pan car atm, running a 13.5 brushless set up. Very fast for me as i am use to a old brushed set up. Keen to get a new car , haven't driven a pan car for years.

What is the normal front track width that most setups use?
190mm Front?
200mm Rear?
I keep trying to look something up but pretty much all say "wide", "Middle" and "narrow". Looking at my LE chassis, it doesn't look like there are 3 choices.
Gonna run the Mile high race and I want to get my set up somewhat close.
What is the normal front track width that most setups use?

The narrow, middle and wide front chassis widths came standard with the original Gen X-10 Pro kit. There were two separate plates (mounted L/R) could be fastened to each side of the chassis plate in all three available width positions. These two plates could get tweaked in hard hits and were replaced by one-piece plates of two different widths.
You can rule out narrow right off. Never needed it for any carpet or asphalt setup.
With the reversed servo front ends (that I use), only the middle and wide settings are available width options. I would often run the middle width when looking for more steering; and, use the wide width for less steering on both carpet and asphalt. Fairly simple rule in my mind.

It's a 1 piece Long arm, dual mount brace with a seperate adjustable servo plate for the forward laydown servo configuration. It has a landing for mounting the transponder as well. You can just remove the 4 main suspension screws and the whole front assembly comes off in one piece.
I had to compress the pics quite a bit to post so it's a little tough to see the details well.
