The track is a very large 10th/8th/5th scale IC track that does not allow the use of any tire additive or track treatment at all. If anyone could help i would be much me with tire combo and possible a good starting setup.

What brushless motors are you running with a lipo pack? I have a 13.5 right now, and it seems to be a little too much. I was wondering if anyone has tried a 17.5, or even 21.5 with 7.4v. Basically what motor with the 7.4v would make it more or less the same power as the 13.5 with 4 cell.

Ditto on these two questions.

I wont be looking to buy for probably another month, but I'd like to know that there will be kits/parts availible when the time comes.

Also, I'm dying to use that P905B body, so the 235mm parts are a must. Any plans for CRC to just make a 235mm kit?

I will be running a 17.5/lipo on my new crc. If I can find a pinion that will fit I may be able to run it for the first time this weekend. Will keep you posted.

As I was buying some stuff, the french CRC dealer just told me that this kit will be soon available.
Just can't wait to paint a 905 body with the original peugeot colors ...

I had to drop a 72t, 48p spur to get a large enough pinion to fit just for my 13.5. Cant emagine what a 17.5 ,or 21.5 would need.

Well, I believe they go down to at least a 78t 64p now on spurs (equal to a 57t 48p) so as long as the motor mount can hold a big pinion it should be fine.

I'm at around 55mm, I tried to use the gearing chart/ rollout from novak's gearing chart. I didnt know 64p were that small, might have to get a 78t 64p to try.

Well I have been working on my kit for 3 weeks now taking my time, being patient and making sure it gets done right. Well I came so close to taking it for a spin in our building parking structure as it has smooth surface and wouldn't you know it as I am screwing in the front wheel the aluminum dual front axle broke on me So now I was hoping to hit the track this weekend unless I can find the part in Los Angeles. Anyone know of a hobby store that might have part 3235 crc dual front axle? If not I may have to get the part from CRC but they do not ship priority.

Anyways here are some pics of my project and I'll start with my work station where my kit got built at work, oh and on a clear day you can actually see the Hollywood sign and Griffith Observatory. Oh and don't make fun of my first paint job, as you can see I also had to use some carbon fiber sticker to cover up like three holes I punched on this body

Thanks just looked them up on the crc site and it's good to know that he is in California and will arrive within a day or so.

Light, thanks for the referral to Serpent but need someone close to me to get parts a bit faster.
