Does anybody know the wheelbase for the HPI Porsche cup racer body. I was wondering if it will fit my M04. Or is there any porsche body that will fit the M04 chassis. Cause I've seen some post it as 210 and some post it 210/225mm so which is it 210or 225mm. :batman:

It's 210mm

That's a great idea but I have an Alfa body for it so I don't wanna change the wheelbase configuration. That's why I wanted a 225mm Porsche body I think they make one cause I saw a M04 kit with a Porsche body for about $180 but I don't need another chassis just a body. But thanks for the idea. :batman:

Sadly, the two M-Chassis Porsche cars Tamiya made are "L"s so the WBs are 239mm, so it would require you add/remove the spacer depending on which body you are running.

Yeah I just did a little research and saw that its for the M02L. The wheelbase is 239MM not 225MM. Oh well I will keep the Alfa and get a Datsun 510 also. No Porsche for my M this time.

Who makes the Subaru body at 210 ???

cheeRS Phil

The only 210mm Suby body I know of is the one from Colt.

Kinda goofy looking IMO :weird:

It's made by Ride...

The Ride WRX is sweet, but it only has a 225mm WB. The HPI RS4 Mini is the only 4WD chassis I know of that suits that body. I completely regret selling mine.

Tech Racing's M03M conversion is 225mm, that looks similar to a TRF415. And of course, the HPI Cup Racer can be made to 225mm. I wanted the Ride Subaru body for my Ken Block replica, but its $35 plus shipping, whereas the Colt Skoda was $16 plus shipping, and looks a bit like the hatchback Impreza. :D

I think the SKODA is a better choice of body to go with because you don't see to many of those around but you see tons of Subaru's. I was pondering on getting the SKODA but I found a Toyota corolla group B decal set for reasonable price so I will have to get a body next. I wanted to get this body for a while but I couldn't find the decal set for under $25 plus shipping. But I found a guy that wanted only $19 including shipping so I had to snatch it up before he sold it. And since Corolla body is 1/12 scale it fits the M03 perfectly.

What do you think will be a good setup for m05...
Holes inside the shock?
Shock spring?
oil weight?
Swaybar?
camber front/rear?
60d s-grips tires very good traction.
medium bite parking lot track pavement
I will be using m-chassis trf alum damper.
