Hey Geek, Next Saturday head out to TQ RC in Chino off the 60 at Central to race. Also, start here; http://www.rc-mini.net/joomla/ These guys have some great info to get you started. Just use the info for the m03 chassis. The m04 is the same, except the motor is at the wrong end.:lol: Check with http://www.speedtechrc.com/store/ebp...alpage=special or RCBoyz on ebay for parts. Both these places have a good selection of hop ups at good prices.

I build the new M05 diff and had no problems getting it tight. What I did was take a set of pliers and pressed the diff spring down a little, that made the tightening of the diff easy and it seemed to get real tight (almost locked down) and no issues with the nut or screw.

I hope there's clearance for the M03 but I don't think there will be.

I prefer the ''Dolly'' colours to the ''Charleston'' colours.

And yep, here in the UK they race them full size.....theres even a one-off meeting every year for the 2CV 24hrs...

m04l graphite stiffner

Hey..was surfing though ebay looking for M04 parts and came across this:

I know that this sounds kinda stupid, but what does this do exactly and is it worth while upgrade?
Also, anyone have a pic of where this actually mounts to? I'm just having a hard time getting a visual of where this would go.

They bolt onto the shock mounts to stiffen them.

A complete waste of money imho. Although they do look cool...

**What is the difference between the Manta Ray diff and the TA03 diff? I need to install one in my car for carpet use. I ran last night with 300K silicone in the gear diff, diffing through the corners like a loose slipper clutch. Anyone use the Yeah Racing spool in the m03?

If there is any difference, it's academic.

One of these has a wider gear than the other, I never remember which but it makes no difference (perhaps only minimal friction, but as I said above, it's academic).
