Hi every big brothers,
Just join the m04 party. Any setting suggest?
I have change the shock to TRF one and change the spring to the short one. Front red, rear yellow. What should I use on the oil. Currently front and rear associated 35. Ball differential would be added later.
Thanks a a lot

With a the 34T spoor you will have a quite nice choise of gear for 27T motors:
23T -> 4.63
21T -> 5.07
19T -> 5.61
With a 23T pinion and a silver stock tamiya motor the mini should be flying

With 60D tyres it gets a 40mm rollout. It should go pretty good, I haven't driven it yet in this setup tho
My car's an M04M though, not a Mini Cooper.

Hey guys I bought a M04 and I noticed that the shocks did not allow the car to bottom out. This is good but I think it limits shock travel and I am loosing some of my shock action. They are some aftermarket shocks and I was wondering if I needed to get different shocks. I would like some suggestions for better shocks or is this a normal condition.
Also any help with oil and spring would be great.
Thanks
Chris

i was wondering what i need to change to get back to 0deg... is it

Finally ! that took awhile to read all 25 pages of this thread ! . LOTS of great info . I am currently rebuilding my M03 . So far all i have is a esc and ballbearings , a set of S grip ( on the reinfored rims ) a couple sets of stock mini tires and a set of 1/10 TC Slicks . I am waiting to get some alloy pin style wheel adapters to replace my cracked plastic ones . As well as a set of Super mini cva dampers . Well here is a pic . I have a new Tamiya Body sitting in my closet , but I can't get the guts to paint it . I think i will just use this one ( in pic ) until it is in such bad shape it is unusable . Or get a pro to paint my mini body for me . Anyway I hope the mini stays around for awhile since they are cheap to run , Fun and with a good setup and a skilled driver , they can be competitive with the local racing clubs at the enty/sportmans level anyway . I be checking back regularly , see ya .

I have been following this thread for a while now...and all I can say is that there's a nice bunch of enthusiasts here. Helpful and supportive. This thread actually influenced me to get a MO3. And I sure was pretty happy with the buy. Never had so much fun for a long while
The tips here sure helped me to build and tune the mini. Keep it up and thanks.
Btw here's my Mini.

Mr.Pink, Sonicnova glad to see more people into minis. I have wanted one for many years. Earlier this year I finally got my mini(m03). I have always been a fan of the "Mr.Bean car".
