Yeah, thanks Tony, I've been busting my chops trying to find a source for this body. I'll order one also.

I Don't really like the Monster mini body... what's supposed to be the big deal/advantage of that body... If it's functional, then I could excuse the looks... if people like it because of the look, then that's another story...

no offense to anyone that likes the body... just trying to understand...

Its just looks, it just a different body style, there are alot of Mini`s tricked out like this in Europe.except for the hood bulge. With the Mini Monster you can do soem silly stuff like use F201 wheels,or just make the wheels stick out a little farther,by using different suspension arms.
I wouldnt mind seeing a GT5 style Mini body, but the Servo mount really gets in the way of a GT5 style Mini. The Hood bulge on the Monster Mini is for the servo and shock mounts.

deans plugs are some of the lowest resistance plugs on the market... almost like having your battery direct-wired... tamiya plugs are high resistance and will melt under extreme conditions...

change to Deans.... your motor and batteries will thank you

BTW.. the new Traxxas plugs are supposed to be a hot ticket too

The body's gone (availability check)

the J Parts are the mirrors and the backing parts for the bumpers and the license plates... the "H" parts are still available... The chrome bumpers and grille for the classic (not the rally)

So, does anyone have any info or pics yet of the NEW MINI? This is Tamiya's 400th model, so I'm hoping for something special. Anyone?

Turn down the stock mini wheels to remove the lips used for the Rubber tires and then mount 1/12 sponge on them. Takes work but it is pretty easy to do.
Also there are some compainies out there that make sponge wheels for the M-chassis cars.

Thats to bad about the body,is the part number completely gone? Anyway here is a picture of the Copen, Detail looks to be a little low,but with a few add ons, migt not look that bad.
