Like on a lot of other things the body hits the servo mounts on an M03.

You can put the body on but it has to sit real high at the front and it looks crap...

The only 225mm alternative that I know of is the Audi TT from Proline. Only problem being that its been out of production for about 3 years...

The HPI Mini and/or VW Concept are both 210mm, they wont fit.

Solution? Pull out the spacer and run 210mm!

All of this has me confused. Can anyone post a pic of how the Civic body does/does not fit on an MO3M? Does anyone have pics of a body mounted on an MO3M besides the included swift body? Thansk fellas.

Better off getting a new one from overseas than look for a second hand one in Australia.

Hi fellow mini drivers.

My name is Will. I am with Over Geared Racing. We are holding a Summer R/C Smack Down in Vancouver BC. Two day event. August 18-19 th.
1st day qualifying and 2nd day mains. The track is about 150 ft long by 60 ft deep.

Any one in the pacific northwest area (Washington, Port Land, Vancouver BC (Canada)) would like to run in 27T Mini. It is pretty much a open class. Open tires and Batteries. Except it has to be a M-Chassis.

If so please let me know or PM me.

Thanks

Will

Already done that, and they are thinking of a new body for the mini. We talked about it last fall

BUT

that does not mean they are producing one.

Here is a link to a chart of bodies for the mini, and what fits what.

Default cockpit update..

Here is the interior installed in a mini.

Now, my next project is to make a left-handed driver and maybe a single driver.

What’s up gang? I just got my M04L Beetle delivered on Monday and I have been working on it for the last couple of nights. Thus far, I have completed the front and rear suspensions and the gearbox. I have a couple of questions, however:

1. The left rear suspension seems to be binding. I am not sure why this is happening. I made sure that everything was not too tight and it does not look like I have any flashing or anything gumming up the works. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this?
2. I’m running the friction shocks for now and will probably do a few races with them. Does anyone have any advice on how to set them up to be as good as possible? I will be running on an indoor asphalt track with good grip.
3. Will a standard Futaba S3003 steering servo fit? What about a standard sized Futaba receiver (I need to buy these still, so I can’t test fit)?

Also, does anyone have suggestions for tires? I am hoping to keep it TCS legal.

Thanks!

The HPI Civic does fit....Someone in Omaha did run one for quite awhile. I think he had to do some minor modifications, but I don't remember exactly what they were.
