I run a couple of the bigbore dampers on my cars. The white pistons are garabage imho, same with the #54000's white pistons. I run the black pistons and use either the 2 hole or 3 hole depending on the oils I choose to run.

The best setting for me is one that is pretty loose almost near bouncy but still damped.

I ended up spending about the same amount of dollars on the xv-01 hop-ups compared to the kit price. I should have just got the TC version to begin with.
If you see yourself upgrading continually, then getting the R-spec wont stop you, but simply force you to buy more expensive upgrades.

Regarding the motor mount, looks like i have to suck it up and buy the tamiya one.

I didn't need it but I bought one anyway. Thank you for the code I couldn't pass on the amount of money saved.

Hey guys, does anyone can tell if hobbywing quicrun 10bl60 sensored 60a esc can support using bluebird dmg621 servo without adding external bec??
The esc paired with xerun 17.5t motor
Just wondering..

This is the esc spec
Model: QUICRUN-10BL60-SENSORED

Cont./Peak Current/ Resistance: 60A / 380A / 0.0008 Ohm

Motor Type Supported: Sensored / Sensorless Brushless Motor

Car Applicable: 1/10 & 1/12 On-road / Off-road / F1 / Drift car race / Street race for fun / Club racing / STOCK race with 0 timing / Drift car race

Motor Limit:
For 4-6 cells NiMH/2S Lipo
≥8.5T(1/10 On-road), ≥13.5T(1/10 Off-road) *"T" indicates the limit value of motor turns when the ESC timing is set to 0. The larger the timing, the more turns the motor needs.
8-9 cells NiMH/3S Lipo
≥13.5T(1/10 On-road), ≥17.5T(1/10 Off-road) *"T" indicates the limit value of motor turns when the ESC timing is set to 0. The larger the timing, the more turns the motor needs.

Battery: 4-9 Cells NiMH / 2-3S Lipo
BEC Output / Operating Voltage of the Cooling Fan: 6V@2A, Linear Mode / 6V (The cooling fan gets its power supply from the built-in BEC)

2 amp BEC.
I'd suggest you use a capacitor.

I was (this) close to pulling the trigger on the pro-race because of that 40$ off, but then thought about the consequences by having to explain to the wife how a new car got into my RC garage. "I tripped, (finger slipped) and now its here." Yeah right! 😚

By the way, thanks for letting us know about that deal. Good looking out.

I am not sure about the Quicrun, but the Xerun that I own (with 13.5t), has built in receiver capacitors dangling off the side. It has more than enough juice for my Futaba high torque servo and receiver. If you check the BEC spec on the XErun, and it has the same amp rating as the quicrun, you should be good without having to use anything more.

I just checked the XErun specs. it's 6V@3A. So 2A is borderline questionable.

120A, I think your right, 2A might not be the most reliable.

I'm this close to pulling the trigger myself Still trying to justify it, I've recently upgraded my M03 with CVDs and big bore dampers but haven't had a chance to run it yet due to a broken finger and recently moving house

Could be worse. If my reactions were any slower, the hockey ball could have broken my face instead

TBLE02S if you get a recent production one. It supports both brushed and brushless motors (sort of).

Earlier production ones came with TEU-105BK which is brushed motors only.
