Sure will, they'll go straight on....
Just make sure you use the Short tuned spring set with them, and we actually remove the spring tension adjuster as well to get the length down shorter. |
THanks!
I'll try that.

A question for the masses: I know the answer to this question is in the back pages, but I couldn't find it.
Q: Is there a gear set (ie: gearbox), optional, aftermarket or parts from another Tamiya car that can be used in a M03 to raise the final drive ? |
Tobee Craft make a set of alternative spur gears (36/35/34) that will raise the final drive. They are notoriously hard to find though. Jasons Store on ebay sometimes has them but not at the moment. Rainbow Ten also carry them sometimes.
Eagle Racing make a single set of replacement gears as well, which are basically the equivalent of running a 21T pinion. And also hard to find. RC Mart have them now and then but also dont have them right now. Neither set of gears are legal in racing I hasten to add. |
Another big page of updates today..
A fairly comprehensive listing of all the official Tamiya Hop-ups for the M03 series. I cant guarantee that they're all there (I didnt do spacers and washers and screws etc) but 99% should be listed there. If there's something else you feel should be there, please let me know. An after market listing is in the works too.. http://www.rc-mini.net/MiniWeb1/Parts_Listing.html |
thanx

The susp shafts (53301) I plain forgot...
Manta Ray diff (53070)... Hmm I suppose I should add that too even though it weighs a ton. And the kingpins... I'll have to check on that. Somewhere in the dark recesses of my memory is something that tells me that the 53157 king pins (the alloy ones) aren't suitable for some reason....although for the life of me I cant remember why? |
Tony, @ The Tamiya World Championshis this year they had a conversion kit that used TL01 arms on a M04. Have you ever tried this, or have a starting set up.
|
Sorry mate, but our M04 experimenting has been minimal to say the least. We've really only had a little play with them and that's that.
However, one of our guys is starting to play with his a bit over Xmas so I'll run that idea past him to play with with. But I cant help wondering what it would achieve anyway? A really wide M04? And what shell would even fit on it? The latest update to rc-mini is up now. What are we doing with these Minis? Check out the site here to find out! http://home.iprimus.com.au/anthonygray/Minishow6s.jpg |

News to me... That'd have to be the Porsche TA02SW body then? Not exactly an easy one to find I'd reckon?
