All the minis come standard with a silver can 540, so you'll have to spend a few more bucks to get a black can Sport-Tuned.

As for the M04's they're a bit of an orphan. Not terribly popular and a bit hard to drive. M03's are a LOT easier to drive and we reckon more fun too.

shocks & tires.. for the shocks, the super mini ones will do (the ones from the ta05). thats all i could think of. oh, bearings (the m03m lacks a few more).. you could buy more shiny hop-ups from there on. :D

What Miata body is that?

tony gray 11-28-2006 12:56 AM

That'd be a HPI Miata shell you're looking at Adrian.

225mm so it fits nicely on an M03M....

don't believe it will fit an M03M due to servo location at the top of the chassis?

tony gray 11-28-2006 11:14 AM

You might well be correct about that.
I knew the wheelbase was OK but I must admit I've never physically tried to fit one onto an M03. I'll try it when I get home tonight

any one tried the honda civic on m03m chasis? will it fit? thank :)

Yes, however the wheelbase of the Civic body I found when I tried it a couple years ago was right in between the M03 and M03L so flipping the rear arms and modifying them to work with the spacer in the chassis was the key. If Tamiya has an insert in between the two then the civic body is a direct drop on.

cool, also i have a q, for opt 53344 can it be use in m03l the swift kit?
