Just got my daughter an M05 on the cheap. Is the M05 pro v2 main chassis a direct replacement I can just swap so she can run a normal lipo?

Can anyone confirm if the 210mm mini body is the correct fit for the M-05 v2?
#58211

Thanks!

You will need the V2 Motor Mount and spacer as well.

You can run a 210mm body but you won;t be able to run the rear droop screw arms, at least I couldn't figure out how to anyway. Just went with a 225 MWB body. Mid and long handle better anyways.

Thanks, guessing that's the HPI body #7215 for the smaller chassis

Another question would be regarding the servo options, I saw that the low-profile servos are compatible with the v2 pro kit. Does anyone know if this is the case with a servo like the Savox SC-1251MG

Just out of curiosity, Which BL motor brand did you decide to go with in your mini for the new season?
-I am running a "Hight RPM Revtech Killshot 21.5" w/ a Speedpassion S esc.
Havent run it yet as our season doesn't start for another few months.

trackmate of mine let me borrow his personal 'race-ready' killshot.. im not sure of what flavor it was (im guessing RPM), all i know is the mechanical timing was 'set' to some extent.. with my Orion speedo i must say it was no slouch at all.. just a different throttle curve from the R1-wurks that i usually run and prefer.

should be good to go in the fight...

I haven't adjusted the timing on that Killshot yet, -but I plan to once I get it on the track and can monitor temp's, etc..

I've been told that this is the motor to get, especially for 21.5t where you really want all the rpm's you can get. Yep, hoping it will run strong. ...trying to beat my standing from last year, ..I am #3 (of about 10+) so at this point every little bit helps. Also...finally got my car legally to within 1gram of the 1300 gram limit. -I am at 1301 grams.
