I just noticed that Mini Pro is no longer listed for 2012 only. Looks like a permenent class now running 21.5 brushless. Also, what LiPo are you guys using? I've picked up a few that are "rounded" but apparently not nearly enough, at least to fit my M03.

Lowers are the from M03 to M06.
I got a set that did that last year, but I ended up really liking the tiny bit of extra angle. If that's the case, are all aftermarket arms going to be a bit longer than my stock one? |
Yes. Lower arms are all the same. I couldn't say if all aftermarket arms were longer, though its safe to say it would be foolish if they were, given that they're supposed to be compatible parts.

Why are you changing lower arms anyway? I've never broken one in over 10 years of running Minis.....

Weird little problem: When trying to fit a 2002 Mini shell to either an M03 or 04 chassis, I find the rear tires always rub, unless the body is jacked up like a 4x4. My next idea was to try some 4mm wheel hexes to tuck the rear tires in a bit. Somehow, they allow the centers of the wheels to move inwards enough that they bind on the bit of the rear upright that surrounds the bearing. I'm using some old TL01/M03 rear toe in uprights.
So, I'm trying to figure out how you guys have dealt with this situation. Can the body be made to fit easily over the wheels? I've heard about heating it up to massage the shape, but I've wrecked a body trying it. Can 4mm hexes be made to work in this situation? Maybe with a different set of uprights? And...go! |

Has anyone used the TBG bodies? Which one fits the M06 best? Thanks.

I got the Audi tt body that is featured in the rc-mini review and the fit is very good on the M-06. The quality of the body is quite good, but I was disappointed to find that it did not come with window masks or stickers.

Got my M04 handling and driving like a dream today. Too bad my driving sucks.

Tamiya Blog have photos of the new (or old) M05 VW Golf in the Kamei colour scheme.
And also the new M05 carbon fibre rear damper stay part no. 54475 If it's anything like the front damper stay, everyone will try every setting possible, and then discover that the setting closest to the M03 geometry works the best  |
