If you want to try some have you local shop contact Schumacher or order on line at www.racing-cars.com tomorrow (the website will be updated to show new stock tonight). I've been running on an unprepared parking lot. All I've done is clean them with Simple Green and wipe them dry....no additives needed. |
Grease in Diff
How much grease do you put in the diff? (the standard MO3 gear diff)
Do you fill it or about half fill it or what? I hear there is an art to getting the diff action just right. What is the secret please. |

Mini wandering around down the straight
How do you stop a mini MO3, wandering around down the straight. Mine drifts left or right as I acelerate or drive down the straights.
All screws are tight, there is a bit of slop in the suspension and the wheel 'C' hubs, can this be fixed with shims? Will lowering the ride height help this? Thanks in advance |

Lock your DIFF
For those who want to lock the diff. I tried this Tamiya part, it works fine and it isn’t permanent. Two plastic parts replace the three metal gears in the stock diff. It helps acceleration out of corners, but makes the car a little more squirrelly.
http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...uct-id=9005422 They are the “G-5” parts on this PDF exploded view of the Tuoareg file from Tamiya. http://www.tamiyausa.com/pdf/58324e.pdf |
Guys,
I am chasing the part number for the rear toe in hubs. Thanks Taffyjnr5 |
Rear toe in
Tamiya part # 53345 . Works great, better down the straights and helps carry speed in corners.

03 or 04
Is the 04 chassis a big improvement or advantage over the 03? Also what are your thoughts about front vs. rear wheel drive? I was thinking of getting the new suzuki as well.......I love these things. :D

3 Attachment(s)
Just got finished building my Swift. I really like this kit and the body and decals are great. My local club is starting a mini class on our electric track and there are people waiting in line for this kit, so I decided to add a little flare on the lid to make it stand out, hopefully.
