I just got my Type Si yesterday. There are lots of modificatiion from Type T. Mainly for the top deck is a lot more flexible than type T. This time they use two short shocks in front and two long shocks in rear. New type of steering post.

Yes. This is correct. By looking at the car, they used a lot of heavy duty items.
I am checking right now whether I can use Comet quick shock change screw set for this car.

I didnt know they were doing a new car...does anyone have any pics??
Also, Does anyone have a rollout or gear ratio for running a 9x2 on a rather large parking lot?? Any inputs would be great

The new SI is nice. It has weight moved to the left. The new tranny has an almost perfect circular path for the rear belt and allow the use of much smaller spur gear. The SI has more out of the corner torque and top speed than the Type T. The overall CG is lowered. New steering bell crank puts out a lot more torque to the steering blocks without any end play either side. Also new are stronger, lighter shock towers, longer upper camber links, higher rear roll-center, new oversized front one-way.

Si is limited edition. If you want to see the pictures, you can go to Atlas Website and take a look at it. You need to put 10-20 grams of weight on the left side to reduce the difference for left and right steering.

the new car still has no droop screws. is this true? man, it's a masterpiece, but uhhh, what's up with refusing to drill some holes in those arms? am i just missing something? later.

you've never broken an arm as a result? they seem fairly light. not stock, but i can't see where there's room for droop screws. of course you can use like 4-40 or something really small.
