The car can be very competitive against more expensive (with alu and carbon parts) cars, it all depends on how good the car has been setup.
As long as you don't want the car to be run in modified classes it can keep up very well.
Hope this helps

I can't give you a definitive answer as I run 48P gears but I can fit in a 80T spur and 28T pinion (48P) with room to go a few teeth higher so converting that to 64P you should be able to get it in.
I had problems getting higher ratios with smaller gears as they didn't mesh hence why I've whacked an 80T in there.

Thanks, I actually figured gearing between 86-88 spur and 48-52 would be ideal running 17.5

It does have a slight cut out but not sure if it fits.

I've always been running the shocks in standard standup position for over a year now and i love it. Never been running the shocks in IFS position on my TA06 PRO but did run them in that position on my TA05 years ago and it did work very well.

I use the gear diff with the thinnest diff oil I have and don't fill up the case just enough to coat the gears otherwise it leaks because it's so thin

I bought one but my mate said they're more maintenance and hassle than they're worth so it's still sitting in the packet.

I bought the Exotek chasis conversion kit, its held up well so far.

With the stock kit oil I found the bloody thing leaked regardless of level and it'd be dry by the end of a race day. I've started using TRF 2000 gear diff oil and has solved this problem as it's a lot thicker. Just do a couple of practice laps to loosen it up before you race otherwise you'll be oversteering like a mofo

Eagle Racing TA06-24 Competition hop-up kit going at a crazy price. Just ordered 2 of these. I'm using Eagle bulkheads and pulleys have had no problems. The Tamiya versions of the alloy rear uprights alone are valued at $32 so this is an amazing deal.

USD 7.90

What oil are you guys using for the rear diff? I'm using 1K oil and after a day of racing it has all leaked out. Other than switching to a thicker oil is there a way to stop it from leaking?
