Monsoon- Missed ya at the first team meeting. Lots of work got done tonight as well as some fun.

Ride looks ready to do battle!

Might or might not make it for Fri. practice, but will be there 8 a.m. Sat. for sure.

Everyone be ready and don't forget anything. You'll never know what you'll need.

Get some rest. It'll be a long weekend.

See ya all at the track.

Good luck!

Default TB or not TB....

Shockwave...

I was in the same dilema last week.... TB or 7even....

The 7even is a great car I think and their faults are few and far between.... The engineering in the 7even makes every sense, there has been a lot of thought when they designed the car.... but if you are getting the 7even I really recommend you to read the building tips on their website..... or contact owners of this car cos there are a few issues in the manual which is not clear.... and can cause some problems....

This is my first belt drive car and I was worried in getting a belt drive first.... but what really sold me is service the guys at RCLab UK gave, their service is unbelievable..... the prices are great and they are totally committed to backing the car up... Anything I have ordered so far have arrived the next day.... and what ever I can't there is always a alternative at the LHS. If you can get that kind of service and parts in either marque then I don't think you can lose either way.

The car was fast from new.... I have never seen a car turns so sharp..... a bit too much for my limited experience... but it can be quite easily tamed and it really responds to changes I made to make it turn more neutrally with a bit of oversteer.....

The fact is I will still get a TB-01 Evo at a later stage cos I still like to own a shaft drive car with Tamiya enginering..... but that's because I am greedy!!!

I will be positing pics of my 7even Evo hopefully tonight.... before I trash the new paint work!!!!

I've always had belt drive cars...well..other then my TAO2..but that doesn't count. So I thought maybe a shaft car. I can't stand the TC3 so I ruled that out (why can't a stand it? its the like the mustang of TCs. They are EVERYWHERE!) I also really like the looks of the Evo..and I liek the name.."Evo" its the closest I'd ever get to a lancer I guess But then on the other hand the 7even is a sweet car and is loaded with allthe stock options! ARG!!! *smacks 4head* Maybe I shouls stick with my FFO1 jk

Sonneteer, that body that you have for the car is awesome. What is it? Who makes it? What is the part number? That is just a cool front air dam.

Default RC LAB

Hi

That body is the Tamiya Alfa 155 shell.... I got several of them cos I like Italian cars.... and I did this one in my corporate colours...

here's another one, and there is a closer up in the "your custom paint jobs" thread...

Heres another one with the front on....
