A brand new ESC for less than $60 US. Am I dreaming or is there something in those ramen noodles?
You could almost buy 4 of them for the price of a Tekin RSpro.

Robk...no no no....

Thanks for the update; I will have it added to our USVTA store section. We are in the process of shipping our initial store orders for the new GTB2.
For those just getting involved or searching for bargains, don't overlook our RMF Havoc 2S/SS Pro 25.5 combo.

Simple answer is it eliminates ANY question about the equality of the ESC performance. The non-programmable ESC's which are approved have been proven equal on the track, and there is no OOPS factor about someone playing with SW.

But will the discussion stop with that response or continue for another 3 pages?

Sw
The topic has been gone over many times within this thread, and is part of a very lively discussion on the proposed ROAR rules change thread regarding potential ESC rules changes.

This is the final word (and an attempt to keep this from going 3 pages ):

when the first zero timing version came out from tekin it was suppose to be equal to the rest of the zero timing speedos but it was not even though it didn't actually have advanced timing in it on a scope, the settings and engergy output was higher then the the rest of the speedos which were close to equal output wise in the "zero" spec settings. tekin fixed it but by then the cat was out that tekin wether by accident or by design could make a setting change that showed on the scope zero timing and still have higher output. which is why I think Rob King as banned them from the list of allowed speedos

since the new havoc pro has dynamic timing profiles (or so i've heard) is it allowed as a TA speedo? if not, is the old one still allowed?
