Thanks. Yeah I know its frowned upon in vta racing, but was curious if anyone had tried it.

Have a question. I know different places have different rules, but in general is Novak SS 21.5 still the only brushless motor that USVTA says should be legal?

I am getting ready to get a new 21.5 and am hearing different things ...Heard that the Novak Ballistic Spec 21.5 will eventually replace there SS and since roar is running USVTA, any 21.5 can be ran.

Any help would be appreciated
Chris

what's to be confused about?? if you track follows the USVTA rules, they you can ONLY run the Novak 21.5 (either the current one or the new ballistic one)...If you track DOES NOT follow USVTA and follows ROAR only, then you can run any 21.5

but the majority of track DO NOT FOLLOW ROAR FOR USVTA, they FOLLOW THE USVTA rules and therefore only the novak 21.5 are legal.

plain and simple - absolutely nothing to be confused about. VTA wasn't even a 'real' class with ROAR in 2009 - so I wouldn't even worry yourself about the ROAR rules and follow what 95% of the other tracks follow

Not sure where I will be racing this winter. Our 1/18 indoor track just closed and wanted to know what most tracks followed.

You can't go wrong if you follow the US VTA rules. Either 21.5 Novak - the Ballistic is to be the replacement for the SS. It was posted just a bit ago.
