Sup Paul?

First off I need to re brown my nose here and say thank you for your willingness to help us little people. I for one have learned a bunch.
By the way your advice on setup for my caveman xxxs g+ made a huge difference. I can almost hang with the faster guys now.

Before you get colon cancer from all the smoke I just blew up your butt, could you tell me wat advantage running your wing so far back has?

Dave.

Mtbboy: FUNNY!!
I think that having the wing back on the body gives the car stability entering high speed corners. basicly entering the sweeper you will be able to saw the wheel more and be a little more comfortable. i normally run my wing a little bit back on foams, 1mm farther back than the farthest back hole on the Dna. And for rubber i dont have a measurement but normally pretty far back on my Mazda 6 or speed 6's.
Glad to help, Paul

Default More questions

Hi Paul
Just one question for rubbers on asphalt.
Can you explain when you would put more spacers under the rear top link on the outside? I see a lot of team xray guys doing it. My understanding would be as you add more, you increase camber gain and change the roll center to promote more roll when pushed.
So mid corner when the chassis is leaning the most, your tyre will have more negative camber which I thought would promote some consistent rear slide.
I think earlier this thread you said taking spacers out would free up the car.
Cheers from down under.
Ohh I run a 007 and some Tamiyas....is that a swear word here???
