what about all these esc that fail? people only running 3 batteries then poof! are they goin some thing wrong?( wires soldered too close and esc shorting out?) i want to get one of these for its smoothness but don't want to give up the durablity i have with my mamba max esc.

ok well I use LRP everything else so this is what itll be then. Umm so now for a steereing servo. I like to use JR cause thats what my other off road trucks are, I have Z8450 in them but what about a car, what wouldbe a good servo there? Whats moer important speed or torque? But whats the best 1 out there?

Well JR is my choice haha, do I look for speed and lots of torque? Or just speed? I know JR has some good ones but what would be the ideal JR servo for a touring car?

If your thinking about using one of these with Lipo, I suggest you read the last few pages of the Core 5000 Lipo thread.
It would appear that the LiPo cutoff doesn't really do it's job.....at all .

well i just ran my car until it slowed down ,i unplugged the battery and i checked it with a volt meter and it read 6.2 volts ,i guess mine is working ok, (but i could be wrong) but i ran it for almost 9 minutes with the orion 3.5

It's intersting that some people have found a problem and some haven't, I wonder if it's to do with the power of the particular motor wind being used
