Tamiya mini cooper project
My mini cooper(modified/brushless) took it's first run the other day and I was quite happy with the result. However after my 15min run the tires was almost totally worn down (it was the original tamiya tires). I wonder if anyone know of any good brand of tires for this car (or rc cars in general)?
If you are interested, watch the mini go on this adress:

Thanks

the gimp. yeah the original tires wear out very quick, even with a stock motor. try the hpi x pattern.

I HAVE JUST STARTED IN RC AND THIS WEEKEND WE HAD AN OVAL RACE

OIL SHOCKS SO WHY ARE THE OTHERS SO MUCH FASTER.

I AM NOT SURE IF THE MOTORS THAT COME WITH THE KIT ARE DIFFERENT
OR NOT BUT IT SPINS REAL EASY SO I BOUGHT A NEW MOTOR AND DONE THE SAME WATER BREAK IN AND IT SEEMS TO BE ALOT HARDER TO SPIN.
THIS COULD HAVE BEEN THE PROBLEM RIGHT.

Go to Silver Can Motor Tips/Tricks on the electric on road forum side and do your research there is about everything you need to know right there. If you have any questions just post one and look at the amount of feed back you get. Just remember read first then ask questions. Theres about 16 pages but its well worth it.
