Good job, having more personilities is also called schizofrenic

I ran the same EP 4600 battery in my 12th scale car all weekend long. I practiced with it at the gate the weekend before the Indoor Champs. I was so happy with the runtime and performance, I just kept running the same pack I didn't dare switch it. Every practice, every qualifier I ran the same battery at the Indoor Champs. It never fell off, I had 55-65 seconds left after every run.

Also I do not think modding the board is realistic unless you are an electronics engineer with easy access to cheap single components. Even if you worked out what parts to change, to actually buy them over the counter in small quantities would end up costing as much as a basic 0.9V board!
Thanks, I will just stick to the 300-3600 stick packs, they seem to be doing good for me for now..

Had one go BANG, blew the end right off the EP 4200, right across the pit table from me a week ago. It was a 4 cell and fortunately the shrapnel went away from everybody.

If they build it, we can blow it up!

It wasn't me, I was on the other side of the table.
Don't know what the charge settings were, prob 6A on a Pulsar, and he has been racing for more years than I can mention.
Just another inocent bystander that hasn't managed to blow a battery up in my 7 years of racing, and not for a lack of trying.

Your first pic a couple of posts back it looks like your using extra layers of shrink around your pack, nothing like trapping in all the heat you can.

Looking to buy some new 08 EPs just unsure of what to go for...

Mostly race brushed 19T in pro-stock. Are there any advantages of the 4600s over the 4200s or is just runtime?

Cheers
Keiran

I personally haven't, but I've had good success with them. I think the IB4600's perform a little better though.
