Hpi Pro 4
Do you guys think the pro4 will be "out of date" in 2006 now that the cyclone is coming out?
Will anyone continue to run the pro4 in '06?

The shaft will continue to be out there. Yokomo has both a shaft and a belt on the market. It's just about preference and so far I have enjoyed the shaft cars. Hopefully all we will see is redefined parts for it in the next year.
Pro4 will still be an awesome car...
I might keep mine and run it in stock like rc-zombies because of its free drivetrain.

I'm with you. The cyclone looks good but has a high price tag.
Most of my racing is done in stock so I will stick with my Pro 4 for now. I like the car.

i think the pro4 will turn into today’s TC3. a well proven easy to work on car. also you can pick up a used pro4 kit pretty cheap now. i have seen them go for as low as $120 with a few spares on ebay. i have 2 pro4s now an ill say ill be keeping them both. ill be using them in stock racing and probably get the cyclone before xmas and be using that for 19t and maybe mod later. the pro4 is a solid car that will be around and competitive for many years for come. and like i said i see it becoming HPI's tc3. a car that will be popular for many years, which HPI has had a problem with. and if they come out with a pro5, which i think will be a few years, i might just be keeping my pro4s over the 5s. but i like to think of the cyclone as their pro5 because basically HPI is HB they are both owned by the same person (i think) so it would be crazy to put out another car within the next year and possibly dilute the sales of the cyclone.

I wanna take a look at your cyclone when you do decide to get it. Even if takes me driving up to Redmond to to so.

yea about those clamping wheel nuts. does anyone know of wider ones. i hate putting those shimms on because it makes a gap which makes it easier to strip out the center of a rim. PLEASE HELP US
