Hpi Pro 4

If I remember right Associated went to a alum. shaft for balance reason. I ran mod with the carbon shaft and never had any problems. But by looking at the carbon HPI one , how much difference in weight is there. The TC3 used plastic ends with a pin in them. The HPI one has machined ends, so there wouldn't be much difference in weight? Anyone got both that could weigh them?

Its just slightly tweaked but I was just wondering in case one of the bones gets broke.
Thanks for the info on the asian drive shafts. For the price on the graphite shaft I will stick with the purple alum main shaft.

Looks cool Super Steve
I'm sure the carbon shaft will be lighter than the normal purple one or they wouldn't have released it....
I know someone who was running a 10 turn in his TC3 and broke the carbon shaft..didn't look too good.
1 question, will the Square Pro 3 purple shock bodies go on as a direct fit for the Pro 4 ones?

i recon hpi or an aftermarket parts developer should make some carbon fibre cvd's. you could make them really thick and still save weight. IMAGINE THE BLING FACTOR!

Anyone tried the TB Evo 4?
Sorry to "barge" in but I'm primarily a nitro racer and thinking of trying electric.
Has anyone tested or tried the new TB Evo 4? What is it like compared to your cars?
Cheers!

hpi has just released a blue version of the pro4 WOW! NOTICE THAT THIS VERSION IS NOW TUNED WITH MAGIC. yes people hpi is now the first manufacturer to eliminate the need of those pesky turnbuckles from the chassis to the baulkheads. all adjustments are done via the "abra cadabra" method.
