My tires don't look like that when I get them. I guess you should get some BSR tires

To be honest, i was just happy that they were cut at all. I cut them down some anyway so it wasnt an issue. I was very happy with them.

I have run BSR tires and they are awesome also. I dont think there is a bad tire company out. They are all really awesome

Believe me bro, i really want to. Its tough for me to get away for the weekend though. I just love razzing adrian. I know its gonna be a few weeks before he can have another shot at it. Its too much fun. Its almost more fun than the racing itself

Just wait until you see the furballs I sent you! I have an Integy truer with the hacksaw blade cutter. I put in a Hudy Carbide cutter and it serrated the tires The hack saw blade was better.

FYI, both pairs of fronts I sent you are brand new. The rears on the car are a little beat up but will be fine for practice. The other set of rears are brand new.

Do not retrue them...they are right at the size you want 1.7F and 1.75R. Any pattern on the tire will be gone in 1 min of running.

Don't worry about me re-truing them, gotta have a tire truer to do that

Thanks for the heads up though, got my Mi3 all ready for Sunday, and it sounds like the DB12R will be just as prepped as soon as I open the box.

The car should be on point when you get it. His car was real good on sunday. If you find a better setup please do share.

I want to let all of you guys know, we are cutting a wide range of thicknesses of flex plates right now and every set we have is measured with a micrometer and seperated in .002 increments. If you feel that you want to try certain thicknesses, please feel free to let me know. I have them seperated and chances are i have the set you are looking for. I want to have the option open for you. They range from .061-.073 and we have about 5 variations in small increments to allow you to really fine tune.
This is for that little change you may feel will work for your track. If any of you have any questions on them feel free to ask away.

do you run a shim underneath the front standoff to compensate for the smaller flex plates or do you find that it doesn't effect the "wings" and rear pivot points?

There is no need to shim anything to compensate for flex plate changes. The diffrence between the thickest and thinnest flex plate is ~.015". That's not a lot dimensionally as far as the chassis structure is concered.

There is an intentional mis-match in the height of the front flex plate moutning posts and the rear pivot ball height. The first prototype had the flex plate level and it was too soft in spring rate off center. The 2nd prototype had the front flex plate mounts lower than the pivot balls in order to preload the flex plates. This made the pod center better and made the car have more steering.

This is one of the areas where Jason instincts were dead on. The guy just has a gift for knowing what right and wrong mechanically in just about everything.
