BMI's DB12R

This car is amazing, I just threw it on my tweak board today just for the sake of checking it and it was dead on even after pushing either side it always returned to exact center (even after many bad crashes that would of made my spring cars not drive able), even my old spring cars after being re tweaked and preloaded down to get the tweak to return to center they were never near as perfect as this is.

Thanks buddy!! I have always disliked how 1/12th cars have always seemed like they were just, well, unfinished. They are always so fragile and never really could withstand the normal crashes that any normal person puts them through. This was the reason i went as far as i did with the durability of the car when developing it. I wanted to have the 1st 1/12th car on the market that wasnt unfinished. Looking at how far TC has come over the past few years, it was almost disapointing to see 1/12th cars stay the same for 15 plus years with no refinements. I am really happy to see that you guys are enjoying the cars without the headaches of having to retweak the car after looking at the boards.

I am seriously considering getting a bmi after I get some wheel time with a 12l4 I believe. What setup adjuments ae necessary to run on high bite carpet and what adjusments\ tires do you guys run for those of you that run on med bite asphalt.

The stock setup works great for medium bite asphault. If you run the servo flat like I do you'll need to change the setup a bit. For flat servo on medium asphault run a red rear spring with the tall ball stud on the shock mount. Up front drop to the .18 AE spring or the .20 BMI linear front spring. Double pinks all around is the way to go. I've been running magentas all around but only because the dbl pinks were out of stock when I needed tires.

You'll love the car sportpak, I've only been able to run mine a couple of times and its a big improvement over my 12L4.

youre anodizing it blue?!! ughhh, now im really jealous. Fine, i might go off and make my own "special edition" car. i'll take a different route though. First ill start with an ebony wood chassis, with mother of pearl inlays. i wish

I know an gold leafed ebony wood chassis with runy and diamonds trough the whole chassis.

thats another possibility i should make a wooden pan car just because it would be dirt cheap, and look really redneck on the track. yeahh

I actually have a wood 12LW chassis. It is a DA chassis with a graphite laminate layer over a balsa wood core. This thing is feather light and super stiff.
