Luckily I am going to Daytona next week for the 400 and the Busch race. I heard many Nascar guys are already talking about 2008's Snowbird race. Nothing is going on at Speedweeks our weekend meaning some can come and race it this year. I will be in the pits talking it up for sure! Stay tuned!

3am!!! I am sure there is something. I head the hotel bar closes at 2am so we will work on being done by then. Last year we did pretty good at being done at decent times and are going to work on that for this year again.... basically by limiting entries again if we have to. If not Cracker Barrell opens at 6am I think.

Thank you Bruce... that means a lot. I know you have supported us for many years!

I just checked for 3am eating and there is a Denny's .2 miles away. This is good I think.... if you like Denny's. I also got a pic here that shows the hotel has room service until 2am. Maybe we can get Hollie and Jessica to do room service????

Wouldn't that be great!!!!!!

They do show 2 for 1 at the outside TIKI bar... nothing more than that. We can argue. Maybe get Judge Judy to help in our case....

There is also a 24 hour McDonalds 2 blocks from the hotel on 192. Actually it's right next to the Denny's. The Gooding's grocery store in the Vid is also open 24 hours.

This year will be all the more reason to race my first Snowbird's....I pass by the resort every day on my way to work! I could even pit at my parent's house about 3 miles from the hotel.

Looking forward to the event Mike!!!

Question about the bump up's, Will the mains be loaded with 10 all the way down with the winner of the B bumping into the A to make 11 in the A, or will it be done as last year where the 10th, 20th and 30th place person gets "bumped" down.

Last year the top 9 are locked in and the winner of the B-screwed main gets the 10th spot.. So it gives 19 people a shot at the title.... There was no bump up from the C-D-E/etc mains, just the B main..

The way we did the bumps was the top 9 were locked in then it was 10 cars in a main after that.... we did them on Saturday which helped add some excitement to Saturday and shorten the race program for Sunday. I wouldn't mind trying to do the C's one year too..

Hey Mike will the track be the same size this year or does the new place allow for a larger track?

I think 10 in the main with an 11th being bumped in would be even more interesting. In On-Road I dont think it would be a problem....It might be tight for oval though.

We are working on the layouts and might be going a little wider to open up the lanes...

Thought this was funny - last week in O'town I drove by the old place. Check out what is outside:
http://www.snowbirdnationals.com/snow2007/wood.jpg

So if anyone wants some 4 month old particle board sitting in the Florida sunshine and rain, it's there.
I can't believe they have not tossed it yet. Plus we had one of our TRC Thunder Racing Crew guys park in that handicap spot one night at 11pm and got a huge ticket. Now the wood is parked there. Crazy!!!
