Hi,

i also used the geardiff at the Xceed Cup...

I made a good refill at your geariff.....right Rob

Last weekend i drove the second race with the geardiff in Austria and it was really really great again! I won the race again....

Also the trainingdays before it was fascinating !!
No need to rebuild it.....always perfekt!

Default Amacing first run!

Hi...

Got the problems with the tweeked chassis fixed - got a new one...

Had my first test of the car this past weekend. Made nine runs during the weekend at our small track (about 11x16 meters, great bite in the carpet, 2 meters wide, nice and flowing track, laptimes around 8,5 sec.).
Allready at my 3. run i made a new track record - over five minutes. Bettered the average time by "only" 1/100 of a sec. 35/5.03,28
Had the record with my Yokomo BD before...

At my nineth and final run I smashed the track record - also for a singel lap! An amacing run! 36/5.05,48 - fastest lap 8,26 (bettered by 0,04)

All I have is the car and the parts from the kit. Ran the car nearly as std. But have to say thanks to John P. for the set-up! Yes it's a very good starting point...

Can't wait to get more parts for the car. Usually the One-way is faster at our track, and less toe in the rear is also used.

So this weekend it's off to my first real race with the S-400. A leg of the Danish Championships, at a vrey small and very twisty track. It's almost one 180 after another... Not my cup off thee...
But with this new car I'm a bit more optemistic.

cheers
Nicolai

How is the durability of the car?
How much beating can it take compared to other cars out there?
( I have one on the way - and I just want to be ready for it.. )

The front alloy bulkhead caps ( the shock tower screws to them ) have a habit of bending. I have had one bent on me and a freind has had both completly shear, although that by all acoounts was quite a hard head on hit.

He also snapped the chassis

Also have some spare bearings to hand. They do get rough after a while but I have cleaned mine out and re-oiled them and they are good again. Others have not been so lucky.

Thanks shawnh..

What pitch is the stock spur?
I have a sh*tload of 0.4 pitch pinions from Tamiya, and I wonder if the 0.4p/105t spur from the TA05 will fit..?
..or do I need to go shoping for 48p pinions??
