Back in the hotel packing up for tomorrow flight, Kallie& Jacob are back from their cruise and subsequent visit with her lifelong navy buddy Rhooda on vashion (sp?) island.
Was a long and fun vacation for me and Scotty.
Overall on a scale from 1-10 ...SIR facility -- 9 (only cause I can my local tracks gotta have the 10's ), making new friends and hanging with existing friends -- 10, RMT - 4.5

soooooooooo heres some pictures i took today.
a few more at www.wesesdesign.com/nats07/
Hopefully everyone had a good time. Some of the racing was completely amazing.
One that stands out was when Jeff Brown and CJ Redelf were battling. On the last corner Jeff ate the pipe and broke his left front, while him and CJ rolled over the line nearly side by side and the clock caught CJ, but not Jeff and he ran his final lap with 3 wheels!!!!

I had a pretty good time. Definitely one of the more fun electric races I have atteneded in a while. Big Kudos to the SIR crew for an outstanding effort these past few months. I thought that Doug was going to blow out on the mic, but he held strong all event and maintained enthusiasm right to the end. Congrat's to all. Especially to Barry.... that was one damn fine preformance!

Gotta agree with Harsh on the 1-10 rating for the RMT at 4.5
ROAR rule 5.12.1 :
5.12.1 A black flag will be given to a driver whose driving, vehicle operation, or performance
constitutes a hazard to the other vehicles in the race. This includes insufficient skills to
compete in the class, unsportsmanlike driving, and intentional hitting of other vehicles,
intentional short coursing, intentional corner cutting, intentional blocking when being
overtaken, illegal or improper vehicle numbers and other such acts
If I can find it in the rule book, I'm sure the officials could too.
The whole Masters field in A3 was put on warning before the start of the race.
What? for 1 maybe 2 drivers that were guilty?
A restart was called, the start was better than the 2 previous main starts, and better than the restart.
There was some ugly blocking of the lead car for 3 turns on the final lap, nothing was done to the blocker even though it was done to slow the leader down for a possible tie breaker.
