Depends...do you use a one way for the type of racing you do?? Really not a big deal though. The EVO3 thread has some good fixes for the one way problem and very shortly Tamiya will be releasing the RED version with an updated assembly which should be a replacement for the standard EVO3 one way.

Evoracer how soon do i have to wait for the red version to come out.

Hi Guys,

From what I understand (not 100% sure though) the red version of the EVOIII is a Japan only version, and the price tag is over $400 I believe.

after many hours of research and contemplation, i've decided to get the evo III.

STEVE, when to plan on getting some more evo's. I'm ready to buy

Still choosing Warlord ?

Something in my gut tells me Tamiya will bring out a new 414 with ssg decks and the lightweight bulkheads.

No conformation from Tamiya as I know of.

So atleast 1 to 2 months time till something new / updated comes out. Can you wait that long ?

they seem to have a new kit every 2-3 months....evo 3 in dec..ta04trf in feb/mar...and soon the red version...gotta wait like 4-5 months till a new kit is out...
