You're the one sittine at home and has access to make personal phone calls while some of us work and aren't allowed to make personal phone calls. When we can, it's on the weekends or after business hours. That's the point and that's what email is for. Once again...in yet another thread, you've proven that you just don't get it.

how about if your in another time zone, are you going to wake up at 3am to make a call?? If you are calling from another country and you have a 10-15 min conversation who is going to pay for that?? Bottom line do not offer something you can not provide.

I just think it's incredible that some companies do not value their customers.

Which is why it pays to buy from a local shop and have them deal with it for you.

You must have personal friends at your LHS. From what I know, even in most directions u read these days, it states do not return product to store/dealer contact the manufacture for warranty and repairs.

Clearly if I buy something, and get it home it does not function like it is supposed to Im returning it to the retailer. But, lets say a month later it stops working you have to contact the manufacture.

I NEVER got a response from Trinity either. Why offer e-mail support if you are not going to use it? In todays world e-mail is an easier and faster way to communicate. It's funny how a company that has some hi tech products can't even use e-mail properly. I have since switched my business to companies that support their products properly. Trinity can't afford to keep these practices up in the long run. It amazes me that something so simple (responding to an e-mail) cannot be done properly.

true, but this was not the situation. And besides sometimes the local hobby shops do not have a clue. Lot of those around here. The bottom line is that trinity is the manufacturer of the device and therefore they should stand behind their product. Pretty simple if you ask me.

I was told one time when I called trinity that their email system filters a lot of spam email and blocks certain domains like hotmail and such. I know my company's email system does this.

So maybe thats what happened.

We aren't that lucky in the UK , we get the products about a year after their launch elsewhere, I spoke to a friend who works in a model shop who has found out that the UK distributor is now going to import the DPD but are only ordering 20 of them and it will cost the eqivalent to 260 USD.

If we want up to date gear we have to buy it overseas
