hey dave have you ever seen this front shock tower on a CE-4

those are excel products and you will have to look in the hong kong and japan region for them. www.rc-excel.jp/

Yes...

Thats a modified stock one ...but Speedway PAL makes one like that also that lays the front shock down

A couple more questions for you all:

Does the Pal drive system allow for better spur/pinion allignment? I was going to move the spur to the other side of the mount but that would mean losing the battery holder and using tape which I'd rather not.

Also, do excel make a similar drive system, I was looking at the excel hubs so thought I might as well get everything from the same manufacturer. Conversly, do Pal make hubs in red?

Arrow Pal Drive System...

I got the PAL system 2 weeks ago, this drive system places the spur gear so that any pnion gear should reach it just fine. You won't have to use long or short shank pinions or flip them around at all. I think that the battery holder will fit, although I use a schumacher battery strap with 2 aluminum posts. I use Kimbrough 64 pitch spurs with Kimbrough Composite pinions. I think Excel does make a very similar drive system, but I do not know about the red hubs.

Arrow Excel (PAL-Style) Drive System

Here is the PAL-Style drive system that Excel does make. I got this right off their wesite. Pretty Sure it is for the R2.

EXCEL has the drive system But here`s a little Secret

Speedway PAL Makes all of the Xenon & EXCEL Hubs ....and te Drive systems So if you buy a EXCEL one your really just buying a PAL one
