ko's hubs are a great upgrade, unles you get teh xenon upgrade, the pal drive system is another. Depending on what surface you race on, there are other things like mid span arms, etc.

Default drivetrain grease?
what type of grease/lubrication do you guys use on your one way & diff gear? or do you guys run it dry?

try Ultralon from Paragon:

has anyone actually tried this? i was running my gears dry... and it felt a little freer. any drawbacks to running it dry besides premature wear?

If you do decide to get them, you'll find that they are worth the cash, especially for what you get at that price...

I have run dry on the last couple cars and it seems to work fine..

Hebiki,
I haven't tried Ultralon yet. I've been using Losi white grease. It has a teflon additive and its fairly light, and my drivetrain is pretty free with the grease compared to running it dry. I've been running the same gears since the 2003 Reedy Race in May and there is no wear.
