One thing I noticed, and for those that have been having front one-way problems with the one-way bearing pins. You might want to check and make sure that there is O-ring spacer in the outdrive. This will ride against the universal dogbone to prevent the outdrives from coming out of the one-way housing. Without this Oring, the one-way outdrive will work it self out of the housing and then the outdrive will only be riding on a portion of the one-way bearing and the bushing on the outside. This puts a lot of stress on the one-way bearing and it can cause the pins to move in its housing. Guys with quad bearing one-ways won't have to worry about this I assume, but it's still a good idea to have the Oring in there

Steve Wang
even with the quad bearing one-ways..keep the O-rings in or two... I've had one of the bearings go bad already... fortunately I didn't loose any of the roller bearings.

That should help free up the rear end a bit. Another thing you can try after these adjustment is putting a shim (from the A6511 shim kit) underneath the front rear suspension ball mounts (just a 0.5mm can have a pretty dramatic affect) that should make the front dive even harder into the turns. Give those a try

Steve I guess this is the perfect time to ask you how to exactly use the the off center balls. Do I use only two in the rear or four? Also where do I want the lines to line up? Thanks. I am using the A6113 rear hubs.

Most people will use 4 in the rear for the most adjustability, but you can get away with 2. Look at how they are offset, and adjust them the way you want to get the toe in you want. You can also adjust them to widen the track of the rear end, or narrow it as well.

Johnny,

The ball stud themselves are not off centered, but the screw holes for these are drilled off center. The side that the screw hole is off centered to, there is a line (or notch) and what you want to do is lined up the notch straight as much as possible. To reduce toe-in, for the Rear Rear ball stud, have the notch facing out and away from each other. to reduce even more, you can have these off centered ball stud on the Rear Front mount and have the notch facing inward towards each other. If you're out there on Sunday at the Toyota race, I can show you then.

Tobee Craft makes blue ones for Yokomo, which are the same as the R2 ones.

Randman,

I should be, but I'll need some power to charge though...I'm not sure if Dan's got that.

When I got my screws and one way in yesterday, I started building right away. I did figure why my car wouldn't rotate forward, a screw that went into the knuckle was hitting the cvd...I'll be ready for Nov. 1st. Got a good 19 turn. I need to mount the sway bars and change the oil in the shocks and finish putting in the electronics and I'll be set. Oh yeah, I have 2 bodies to paint, an alfa and my chevron body.
