Hi Guys,

No, I didn't order the transponder holder, but mainly because racing here in the US a lot more people are switching to personal transponders. If you guys want them, I can probably squeez them in with this order before it is shipped out I'll see what I can do.

and please...anything but the big sloppy kiss...

Cuda R2 Spur Pinion...

I am very interested in getting an R2, and almost all of my questions have been answered from the previous posts. However, can the R2 out of the box be run with 64 pitch spur/pinion? From what I have heard it seams like a hop-up motor mount is needed. Is this so?
Thanks For Your Help.

It could be done but it isn't advisable, you'll probably strip spur gears regularly. I have never bothered with 64dp gears, I think there is enough range and precision in 48dp if you buy spur gears with a 1 tooth difference aswell as pinions. And any shaft drive car isn't going to be the quietest car in the world. If you really want to use 64dp gears then I would say get as many of the alloy shaft holder bits as you can afford, probably the new speedmind motor mount. shaft holder being one of the best since it's right next to the spur gear.
